Kardex AG übernimmt US-Mitbewerber Kardex Systems Inc.

12.12.2008, Die Kardex AG übernimmt im Rahmen eines Asset Purchase Agreements die Aktiven des US- Mitbe-werbers Kardex Systems Inc., der zuvor vor einem US-Gericht Insolvenz nach Chapter 11 beantragt hatte. Kardex Systems Inc. erzielte im Geschäftsjahr 2007 mit gegen 100 Mitarbeitenden einen Umsatz von rund USD 21 Mio.

Die Kardex AG hat eine Vereinbarung zum Kauf der Aktiven (Asset Purchase Agreement) ihres USMitbewerbers Kardex Systems Inc. unterzeichnet, der Insolvenz nach "Chapter 11" beantragt hat.

Vorbehältlich der Zustimmung des Gerichts wird die Kardex AG die Aktiven der Kardex Systems Inc. übernehmen. Kardex Systems Inc. erzielte im Geschäftsjahr 2007 einen Umsatz von rund USD 21 Mio.

Im Zug der Transaktion wird die Kardex AG die Marke Kardex in den USA sowie eine Produktionsstätte in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, erwerben. Damit wird die Kardex AG die führende Position ihrer USVertriebsgesellschaft Remstar Inc. im amerikanischen Markt weiter ausbauen. Mit der geplanten Transaktion wird die Kardex AG zudem ihre starke Stellung im globalen Markt für Dynamische Lager- und Bereitstellungssysteme weiter festigen.
