Kardex AG bestätigt Übernahme der Element Storage Systems AS

12.05.2009, Norwegische Wettbewerbsbehörde stimmt Transaktion zu. Die Kardex AG hat die Zustimmung der norwegischen Wettbewerbsbehörde zur Übernahme der auf Kardex- und Stow-Produkte ausgerichteten Aktivitäten des skandinavischen Vertriebspartners Element Storage Systems AS im Rahmen eines Asset Purchase Agreements erhalten.

Element Storage Systems AS (ESS) mit Sitz in Kløfta bei Oslo ist ein bedeutender Anbieter von computergesteuerten, automatischen Kardex-Lager-, -Bereitstellungs- und - Distributionssystemen im skandinavischen Markt. Zudem vertreibt ESS die statischen Regallagersysteme des Kardex Geschäftsbereichs Stow in Skandinavien unter der Marke 'Arkiv & Lager'.

Der neu erworbene Bereich erzielte im Geschäftsjahr 2008 mit 20 Mitarbeitenden einen Umsatz von rund EUR 11 Mio.

Die Kardex AG wird mit der Integration der im skandinavischen Markt fest etablierten ESSVerkaufsorganisation zu einem der führenden Anbieter von dynamischen Lagersystemen in Skandinavien.
